A capsule childrenswear collection designed by Stella McCartney will be stocked in London’s stores at the end of August. The British designer, gets once again inspired by the characters of the “Mr Men and Little Miss” series as it happened in 2006 when she collaborated with the author and illustrator Adam Hargreaves to create a new character, called Little Miss Stella for the invitations to her show.
The children’s collection consists of seven pieces for girls, including jumpers, T-shirts, bags and pyjamas, and will come with a set of fabric pens that can be used to draw on fabric. A proper Little Miss book will also come out and tell the story of Little Miss Stella meets Little Miss Nobody, who has a problem bumping into people because no one notices her. The line, which will be launched just in time for school, starts from 35 euros for a T-shirt and will sit alongside the designers existing childrenswear line.
