Apart from Margherita Missoni’s extraordinary wedding, it was Pamela Love’s time to tie the knot too. The jewelry designer, based in New York, married about a month ago to the illustrator Matthew Nelson in a one of a kind, outdoor ceremony in a resort in Montauk, Long Island, very close to Love’s aesthetics. She said that “I wanted the wedding to be about being in a natural, wild environment-which is kind of what love is”.
The bride’s chiffon dress designed by Mara Hoffman had two characteristics. A mauve print and an open lattice back. Her wildflower head wreath and, certainly, the jewelry that was hers creation were the highlights of the stylish wedding. As for the groom’s blue suit, it was made by Billy Reid. Of course, Love had designed the wedding rings herself, mixing white gold with turquoise inlay.
