Louis Vuitton @Mykonos, workshopaholics in heaven!
The new pop up store of the fashion house on the island of Mykonos was celebrated with a series of events and parties, where the rarefied guests, from fashion bloggers to Greek fashion editors, got all the attention.
Last week the island was inundated with the Louis Vuitton guests from all over the world who were invited exclusively for the inauguration of the new boutique, the fourth in a row here in Greece. Two famous fashion bloggers, Chiara Ferragni aka Blonde Salad and Gala Gonzalez from Spain were there, as well as the editor in chief Elena Makri and fashion director Michael Pandos of VOGUE Hellas, editor in chief Madame Figaro and Miss Bloom, Stella Rapti, director of Miss Bloom, Eleni Stasinopoulou, Katrina Tsantali, Vicky Kaya and many others.
The opening party took place at the new store in Matoyannia on Friday night, but the party kept on the next day. On Saturday noon, all the guests were invited at Nammos restaurant at Psarrou beach, where they reveled in the sound of the music and the sea view. We spotted the Blonde Salad, who talked to us about –what else? – fashion, while the managing directors of Louis Vuitton were relaxing after a very demanding and difficult preparation, as Mrs. Areti Darma, PR Manager of Louis Vuitton Greece declared: “Louis Vuitton has set high standards, so everything must be perfect and all the guests have an unforgettable experience”. For the latter we are sure, as all the people invited left Psarrou with a big smile and a great Louis Vuitton towel exclusively gifted to them by the fashion house.
The celebrations ended with a magnificent sunset party at the Cavo Tagoo hotel on Saturday night. The champagne was plentiful and the guests had a blast with the music choices of the DJ Alexandros Christopoulos.
The new pop up store includes all the luxurious products for which we love Louis Vuitton: leather goods, clothes from the SS 2012 collection, sunglasses and shoes. Another reason to go to Mykonos, don’t you think?
