Be glamorous

The life of famous and stylish, Rachel Zoe

She is the epitome of the boho chic style: bell-bottomed jeans, loose T-shirts, printed scarves, long, golden necklaces and wedges constitute some of the basics for a Rachel Zoe look. Did you know, though, that this priestess of style did not have at all the formal fashion training?

Rachel started her career working for magazines. As a freelancer, she had the chance to meet famous and powerful people who distinguished her talent in fashion and hired her as their personal stylist. She managed to upgrade her clients’ style by mixing her point of view with their unique personalities. One led to another and Zoe became one of the most wanted personal stylists in Hollywood. She has worked with Keira Knightley, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore –the latter is among her best friends- and Eva Mendes with great success.

“I am truly living out my dream while staying consistently challenged”

Her easily recognized style and her communicative skills led her to the world of television. In September 2008, Bravo channel launched the Rachel Zoe Project, a TV series in which Rachel and her assistants deal with the difficulties of fashion and life. The show became a blockbuster, making Rachel Zoe one of the leading fashion personas. The ZOE PROJECT, her blog, came as no surprise.

Almost a year ago, Rachel Zoe became a designer. Well, to be precise, she announced that she was going to release a clothing line –that’s why she needed a designing team- completely consistent to her style rules. As she declared, she wanted to create a lifestyle brand other than a simple fashion house. Her recent collections seem to follow exactly this idea. One’s for sure: time will show if she’s staying.
