Rihanna and footwear designer Manolo Blahnik have teamed up for a third and final collection called ‘So Stoned,’ with—you guessed it—plenty of gemstone adornment. The new limited edition range follows two earlier drops Denim Desserts and Savage, which hit shelves in March of last year.
The four new styles will be available as soon as July 6th, 2017. Each uses PVC straps and boasts a Perspex heel lavishly decorated with large multi-colored Swarovski crystals—the final effect is a fusion of Blahnik’s signature elegant style with Rihanna’s tell-tale risqué and blinged-out edge. Included in the So Stoned mix is a mid-heeled mule named Spice, a high heel called Bajan Princess, and a strappy heel which goes by the name of Purple Chalice. The final showstopper in the lineup is a calf-height gladiator sandal titled Poison Ivy. It’s too bad that these babies just missed the Cannes red carpet, where Rihanna turned up several times dripping in Chopard jewels.
The collection starts upwards of $1,000 and is expected to sell out close to immediately upon launch in select Manolo Blahnik stores and online at manoloblahnik.com on July 6th.
