When it came to choosing an online destination for its new limited-run pop-up shoe shop, Dior recalled its pass success with Bergdorf Goodman and tapped the services of the luxury e-tailer for round two. Starting today through to June 28th (that’s three weeks to the day exactly), bg.com will be the sole online purveyor for Dior’s Fall 2017 footwear collection.
The luxury French house first partnered with Bergdorf back in November 2015—a momentous occasion which marked the ‘popping’ of Dior’s e-commerce cherry, so to speak. Before then, the house had adhered to a strict boycott of all things e-comm, aside from for its makeup and skincare categories which are available year-round through dior.com.
Like any major brand worth their salt, Dior’s called on a handful of social media influencers from various corners of the world to help fete the new pop-up. Visitright now to shop for Dior shoes and see Camila Coelho, Yoyo Cao, Melina Matsoukas, and Mia Moretti modeling their favorite styles in spaces they “j’adior.” The pun-ny play on words was inspired by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s popular J’adior slingbacks which the house is introducing in a brand new range of colorways this season.
