From outfits in head-to-toe red to statement fur collars and sparkling details, scroll through to see the standout trends from the Fall 2017 Fashion Week season in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
Head-to-toe red was ubiquitous throughout the Fall 2016 Fashion Week season. At Fendi every look was paired with red boots and in London, Christopher Kane played with vinyl, patent, and cotton textures in rouge.
Statement-Making Fur Collars
Big, beautiful, colorful fur collars featured prominently throughout the collections in all four cities. Those designers that utilized shearling instead—like Saint Laurent—created sculptural elements out of the material.
Sparkle in the form of sequins and rhinestones was seen throughout all four cities, but was most prevalent in Paris at Saint Laurent and Chanel.
Belted Coats And Trenches
A fresh take on an age-old classic, revamped trenches and coats cinched at the waist returned on the runway for Fall 2o17. Of particular note was the camel Max Mara look worn by Halima Aden and the tailored, all-python Gucci coat, debuted in Milan.
