Creating a window needs creativity, marketing edge and hard work
Magic is considered and valued totally different among people and their taste, hopes and dreams. One of the most popoular high end shops in the heart of Athens called μαγεια = magic, (owner is the incredible Ileana Makri who is famous for her exquisite jewerly designs) gave us the chance to be once again creative, by decorating the window of the store. 5 teams, 3 passed, with our proposition being the winner.
The Row, Rick Owens, Burak Uyan and the jewelry of Ileana Makri were the objects for the window, along with Swash and Epice scarves. Vassia, Vivian, Maria, Vasiliki and myself were inspired by the 40’s style, creating masks with bright red lips, using scarves as turbans and sunglasses that we all wanted so badly! A most needed collage with greek actors and style icons such as Melina Merkouri was placed behind the masks. The experience unforgettable, the outcome something that we felt really proud of and we certaintly cannot wait for the press day to come!
Many many thanks to our professor Mia Kollia who introduced and supervised the project, and may I say that we surely impressed her!
