Christophe Lemaire presented his Ready-To-Wear Spring/Summer 2014 collection in Paris Fashion Week. The show took place in a building decorated with plants all over the place. The element of nature with the dominating stormy green color, created a powerful backgroun, which captures our visual sense. Combined with the softness and the power that the garments reflected, it could lead the viewers in simple but at the same time mysterious paths. A range of clothes for self-confident women, a breath of pureness and calmness. In the other hand, one can easily spot some kind of wildness and stringency. Androgynous and minimal references with a touch of femininity, Lemaire chooses pastels and earthy shades which come in contrast with the signature black and white. There’s a sense of liquidity and stability on the fabrics, creating different shapes that flatter the body. Straight silky hair and natural make up complemented a pleasant and healthy image. All these elements become one with the beautiful natural scenery. Timeless and austere clothes, provide the luxury to wear them everywhere and anytime.
