13 Avril, 2012,

Cité de la Mode et du Design ,Seine,

Musée Galliera opens its doors for the fashion crowd overflowing Paris during fashion week. In an exposition of Comme des Garçons‘ entire collection for spring/summer 2012 a White Drama is told throughout the craftsmanship and inspiration of Rei Kawakubo’s creations that not only defy the rules of marketing but they also surpass the boundaries of fashion entering the fields of art on an ultimate extent.

This mini documentary directed by Antoine Asseraf  follows the inspiration behind the exhibition as seen through the eyes of its curator, Olivier Saillard, in a deconstructive analysis of the garments exhibited and their back-story. It is a glimpse into the creative process of its making as much as a means of promulgation through another art form, that of video-making.
