Spotted!  Kurt Geiger’s brand new campaign for Autumn/Winter 2013-2014

Kurt Geiger Calling. The high street brand is celebrating its 50th anniversary by launching a dual campaign, featuring Sam Rollinson and the son of Clash bassist Paul Simonon, Louis Simonon. “Model and rocker, Sam and Louis represent effortless British cool”, said Kurt Geiger creative director Rebecca Farrar-Hockley. “There’s a wonderful quote from Mr Geiger who first opened the doors of Kurt Geiger on Bond Street in 1963. He said something like, ‘The idea that high elegance is created by high heels alone is as dead as last year’s boots!’ We designed the new season boots to look like they belong to a rock star, but feel so easy you can live in them day to day”. The campaign has a Mod-ish/1960s–meets-Grunge/1990s essence, while this rock n’ roll duet took the shoot in a whole new level. Along with the celebration of the high street brand’s anniversary, the campaign also gives to the broad audience a glimpse of a limited edition collection –soon to be launched later this year.
