The designer collaborates with the Japanese-inspired company Tokidoki, and the result: absolutely amazing.

Do you know Choupette, Karl’s Lagerfeld lovely pet cat? Well, both the designer and his pet have been ”cartoonized” from the lifestyle brand Tokidoki. Apart from the small statuesque, the collection also features clothes like printed jeans, casual tops and T-shirts, a scarf and a clutch bag. “I am very flattered that I have become a Tokidoki, I’ve always loved them and I am very happy to be one of them”, said Lagerfeld.
Tokidoki means sometimes in Japanese. It is a Japanese –inspired brand, created by Italian artist Simone Legno and his business partners Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold in 2005. The company is known for its aesthetics and the cute characters. The brand has collaborated with numerous big names such as, Hello Kitty, Karl Lagerfeld, LeSportsac, Barbie, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel and others.
The collection of Karl Lagerfeld is available online since July 3rd at Net-A-Porter.com and at the Karl Lagerfeld concept stores in Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris.
