Profile In Style: Dianna Lunt

Tomboy beauty!

Text: Mariannie Samara

Dianna Lunt is a hip freelance stylist that works in New York. In her beginning she worked as an assistant designer in Anna Sui. She has also worked for Gap Inc. Her personal style is obvious when someone sees her work. At first glimpse she seems to be a fan of androgynous look. But this is not all. There is a true sense of sophistication and minimalism in her outfits.

“Prairie tomboy meets Parisian chic”. This is how she describes her personal style. We would add that Dianna is a big fan of clean-cut lines, basic colours and coarse textures. As a stylist and a fashion lover, the first thing she notices in an outfit is the “balance of silhouette and the pairing of fabric textures”. Dianna’s favourite designers are Maison Martin Margiela, Dries Van Noten, Marni and Jil Sander.

We have to mention that Lunt is a real beauty. Her strong and feminine characteristics come as the perfect match to her tomboy outfits. Structured and deconstructed silhouettes, retro and contemporary touches, feminine and masculine elements, these are the juxtapositions that Dianna embodies, in the most stylish way!
