Elena Ghisellini is an Italian designer of luxurious handbags that really fascinate us.
Text: Irene Gkoufa
Elena is from Genoa of Italy and has studied in Rome, at the School of Arts in IED, and after she graduated, she started working as a fashion stylist at Bulgari house and then at Salvatore Ferragamo. In 2003 she launched her first collection and started the brand. Her moto is: “True modernity knows how to make fine products, of timeless elegance, that also succeed in facilitating the lives of those who use them”.
Her collection of bags has a luxurious touch and consists of great designs, with an edgy sight, which are made from a small team of people in Florence. From the Summer 2013 collection, we picked out her cat-shaped bags that look like masks, and some classic designs in beautiful colours.
