This time we meet Jesse and Celine in Greece. Almost two decades have passed since their first meeting on that train bound for Vienna. Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy return for yet another fine romance. The movie premiers today, June 13th and offers an image of Greece that has nothing to do with all the cliches that we have watched before. Don’t miss it!
3rd ATHENS OPEN AIR FILM FESTIVAL
You know its summer officially, when the AOAFF starts. In its’ third year, it offers free film screenings and live music in parks, streets and open-air cinemas all through the summer, leading up to the Athens International Film Festival in September. Among the venues are the Dionysius the Areopagite pedestrian walk, museums, Plato’s Academy Park, Saint Irene Square, Avdi Square and Metaxourgio. The film program will be shortly announced.
TERIADE COLLECTIONS’ GRANDS LIVRES
This Wednesday June 19th, a new exhibition will start in the Byzantine Museum. In collaboration with the Teriade Gallery, the museum will host 350 books from its grande collection. Picasso, Matisse, Miro and Chagall are just a few of the artists whose works will be shown. A very important collection and a unique opportunity. The exhibition will last until August 25th.

EN LEFKO FESTIVAL
The first music festival of En Lefko 87.7 will take place this Friday, June 14th at “Technopolis” of the municipality of Athens. The music will start early in the afternoon and then international and local artists will sing for the athenian audience at a party that will last until the next morning. The Archive, Jessie Ware, Bebe and John Talabot are among the celebrity guests. Don’t miss it!
