With the Depeche Mode concert finally taking place in Athens this Friday, this is definitely one of the most exciting weeks of the year. Have fun and “enjoy the silence”.

A surreal, animated, factually incorrect autobiography of Graham Arthur Chapman, one of the founding members of the comedy group Monty Python. Even though he passed away in 1989 when he was only 48 years old, he recorded himself while reading his book with the title “A liar’s autobiography”. This comedy extravaganza premiers today, May 9th, and if you are a Monty Python’s fan, you shouldn’t miss this hilarious, untrue story.

23 movies, 4 documentaries and live music dedicated to the work of the “father” of pop art and one of the biggest geniuses in art in general, will form the program of one of the most artistically interesting festivals in Athens. The Andy Warhol Festival, will take place in Trianon Theatre from May 9th to May 19th and will become one a very exciting cultural events to attend.

“The Breeder” Gallery, presents the work of architect and artist Andreas Angelidakis in an exhibition named “Group Mountain”, from April 20th to June 29th. “Group Mountain” is also the name of the center piece, inspired by Habitat 67, the architectural work of Moshe Safdie in Montreal. The very structure of the exhibition becomes an artistic language as the visitor’s point of view, changes the way he perceives and understands the artwork. A very interesting show inspired by both architectural and artistic languages.
