Mrs. Daisy Buchanan is in Vogue

Carey Mulligan just can’t get enough of the 1920s regalia.

Captured by Mario Testino in soft focus, in a totally Twenties-look, posing in the most dreamy-meets-luxurious Chanel Haute Couture, Oscar de le Renta and Alexander McQueen attires, under the guidance of the legendary Grace Coddington, the creative director of fashion’s bible. No need for further mystery: Carey Mulligan will be starring at Vogue’s US cover this May. A hymn for the the Great Gatsby – and the 1920s in general- for the film is to open the Cannes Film Festival next month, in which Miuccia Prada put all her craftsmanship in order to produce more than 40 looks for Mulligan’s character Daisy. “It was crazy and exhausting and quite overwhelming,” says Mulligan of filming, “the biggest, craziest production I’ve ever been involved in”.

We are all looking forward for the film to be released. But till then enjoy Carey Mulligan’s most stunning looks on the Red Carpet.
