Before we begin the summer countdown, let’s enjoy the rest of spring! Have a close look at what this week’s agenda has to offer.
LE MAGASIN DES SUICIDES
Patrice Leconte adapts Jean Teulé’s darkly comic novel into an animated musical about a young, optimistic child born into a family that owns a “Suicide Store” and thrives on the misery of its depressed clientele. Dark irony and childish naivety in perfect proportions, highly recommended.
BORDERLINE FESTIVAL ’13
The Onassis Cultural Center hosts a unique music festival that will take place on the upper stage of the center from April 26th to 28th. A great musical experience that will combine on stage different styles simultaneously. Improvisation, classical music, electronica, digital music, all combined in one journey. Set yourselves free and apart from musical dilemmas.

WORLD WISH DAY
This Monday, April 29th, Make-A-Wish Greece celebrates World Wish Day. A day of wish granting, remembering the day seven-year-old Chris Greicius received his wish to be a police officer for a day. This inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish, and the rest is history. During April, the organization hopes to raise funds and make even more wishes come true, culminating on the 29th of April.
In Greece, we celebrate this Sunday the 28th. Visit Syntagma square in order to support and help make wishes come true by donating as much as you can afford. All money raised will go directly to help transform children’s lives.
Spread the word for Make-A-Wish.
