Surf is up this summer thanks to the Tommy Hilfiger Foundation. After the launch of the new collection, the american brand Surf Shack collaborated with five contemporary artists, to design six exclusive surfboards of which only 89 will be available worldwide. Lola Montes Schnabel created two underwater themed boards, while Gary Simmons decorated a red surfboard with dancing white stars. A pop art portrait appears on Richard Phillips design, black and white reign for Scott Campbell, and Raymond Pettibon rounds up the collection with an abstract, multicolored surfboard.
With the goal of promoting the arts all over the world, the boards will be exclusively available in France starting in May, at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship on the Champs-Elysees.
