Mr. F_Man: Ryan Gosling

We all know Ryan Gosling. Yes, he is the man who starred in the most romantic movie of all time -The Notebook- but for those of you who don’t know him, Mr. F_Man is here.

Ryan Thomas Gosling was born in November 12th, 1980 in London, Ontario. He began his career as a child star on the Disney’s Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club, alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

He started his acting career by playing in several independent films but he drew the attention of the audience in 2004 with the romantic drama film “The Notebook”. Alongside with Rachel McAdams, they portrayed the most beloved couple, giving Goslin the opportunity to win four Teen Choice Awards and an MTV Movie Award.

Later on, he continued playing in many different films such as “Half Nelson” (2006), “Lars and the Real Girl” “and Fracture” (2007).

2011 was definitely a landmark year for his career, as he starred in three mainstream films: “Crazy, Stupid, Love”, “The Ides of March” and the thriller “Drive”.

In 2013, he starred in the crime film “Gangster Squad” and we will also saw him in the drama “The place Beyond The Pines”, (where he met his current girlfriend, Eva Mendes) and in the revenge drama “Only God Forgives”.

On his growing up around girls: ‘My sister was my best friend and my hero, growing up. Because I was home-schooled I didn’t have a lot of friends and I did ballet, which was always just girls. All of that had an effect on my brain’.

On getting older: ‘I turned 30 and everyone told me I would feel different and I didn’t. So I thought I’d move to New York’.

On romance: ‘If I eat a huge meal and I can get the girl to rub my belly, I think that’s about as romantic as I can think of’.
