A Catwalk Show in Disneyland, Paris

A different fairytale that combins Disney and Fashion

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Disneyland Paris is holding a catwalk show today, March 23rd, by revisiting Disney’s famous and lovable characters all along, though in a more fashionable point of view. The Sister by Sibling trio – the so-called masters of knitwear- has created a costume based on Chinderella’s famous ball gown. A mini-dress that carries hand-embellishment, finished by a pair of Katie Grand for Hogan high tops –customized and sparkling, proper for the occasion. Designers from around the globe have been chosen to represent their countries, with Sibling by Sister having been selected from the UK.

Alber Elbaz of Lanvin has redesigned Minnie Mouse’s spotty frock on behalf of France, while Philip Treacy represents Ireland. Luisa Beccaria will create a costume on behalf of Italy. Russia’s designer of choice is Alexander Terekhov; Germany’s is Michalsky and Spain’s Custo Barcelona. Belgium representative is Jean-Paul Knott and The Netherlands designer is Olcay Gulsen for Supertrash. Definitely a show to remember. A blend of our childhood’s memoirs and our adulthood’s passions.
