The young designer Olivier Rousteing for this fall has designed a collection for a powerful and independent women. Stylish and chic! There’s a 60s spirit in the air. As we can see, big shoulders and hips are combined together, generating a great result. Geometric prints that could have been inspired from the Art Deco movement. Black is the basic colour and it’s mixed with shocking pink, emerald green, white and purple. Inspired also from the glam rock, the house of Balmain usually uses quite a lot the metallic element, which recommends it for this fall too -silver and gold is must! As for the accessories, go for oversized belts and earrings.

It’s Alexander Wang’s first collection for the house of Balenciaga. It’s a moment that everyone has been waiting for and some people have already started comparing him with Nicolas Ghesquière. The minimalist designer showed off his new ideas for this fall. Black and white were mixed up together. Simple but also edgy. Sticking to the minimal rules, Wang has putted his stigma in this collection. He loves black and clean cuts -as simple as that. Coats with wide sleeves, skinny trousers and high waisted mid-length skirts. Halter dresses, oversized jumpers and biker boots. Beautiful fabrics with nice texture have been used, such as leather and fur.
