MFW: Giorgio Armani

“Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered”. Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani highlighted the dynamism of woman wearing her power suits and expressing her feminine-androgynous side. His influence was la garçonne, an independent woman of the 30s who borrows clothes from a boy’s wardrobe. What could be a better inspiration? The palette was black, white and blue. A nice combination. Models were dressed in cropped, fluid pants and stream-lined jackets. For Fall 2013 we noticed fur made many appearances on the runways and it’s definitely a must item. We loved the fur berets. Clear lines, jewelled jackets, trousers and skirts-cum-bermuda shorts, golden fabrics paired with lacquered black shoes and accessories. Simplicity was the ultimate success of the show.
