Name: Giota Dendrinou
Fashion Styling Student at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya

Hello there! My name is Giota Dendrinou and I am a student at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya in the Department of Styling. When I started about 5 months ago, I could never have expected what it will follow in the days to come. Thanks to MCtalent project and Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya, I was given an amazing opportunity and now I am working as an intern in one of the most popular magazines in Greece, Marie Claire.

From the first day in the magazine, we experienced the real rhythm of the fashion industry. We prepared numerous articles for the website, assisted in fashion editorials and researched topics and concepts for the new MCtalent column. Up till now, the experience is unbelievable, we learn a lot of useful tips and get in touch with great professionals. It is pretty amazing!

Name: Artemi Galati
Fashion Styling Student at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya

I still remember the first day I attended Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya. The red steps, the minimalistic building, the office full of magazines and projects from past students, it just seemed like the perfect place to be.
After a few months I was lucky enough to be offered an internship, to one of the most influential fashion magazines, Marie Claire. 9 students from the styling class and fashion journalism began sailing towards the dream.
The first days passed and I felt like a fish out of the water, but by the end of the first week everything seemed to fall in the right place. I was privileged enough to work side by side with influential personalities of the fashion world and began to understand the workflow of a magazine both on print and online version.
During the second week tons of things had to be done. I was asked to choose clothes for a fashion editorial with Fashion Editor Marilena Karagianni, help Penny Iwannidou on creating still lives and had a brief modeling experience.
It seems like the right place at the right time..

Name: Christina Zikou
Fashion Journalism Student at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya

For most people Tuesday, January 22 , 2013 was just another day on the calendar, but for me it was a day that marked the beginning of an extraordinary fashion adventure. A mere three months earlier, as fledging journalist, I began my first semester of studies at Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya. In a blink of an eye, I found myself working with the fabulous team of Marie Claire.

After getting acquainted with my co-workers, I immediately assumed “battle positions”, because my arrival happened to be in the midst of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week –lucky me!  My first challenge actually became the first of my articles that would be posted on the Marie Claire site. Subsequently, I had already hungrily studied all of the catwalk videos, so I effortlessly embarked on the tumultuous journey of finding the best photographs of the collections, while simultaneously composing the articles that would accompany them. Magnificent houses of fashion such as Christian Dior, Atelier Versace, Chanel, Giambattista Valli and Valentino were all my charming travel guides on this creative journey. I dare say, it wasn’t a shabby beginning to a chic adventure!
