Vivienne Westwood brings back Queen Elizabeth II’s style
Designer Vivienne Westwood, who was named Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2006, took on the royal style. Inspired by queen Elizabeth’s II younger stlye, she designed a capsule collection of ten dresses that she used to wear on special occasions. She used taffeta, silk satins and organza to create her signature sculptured bustiers drapped gowns while many of her creations have the british flag motif. Long live the dame!
