On February 9th Joseph Altuzarra showed off his Fall/Winter 2013/2014 collection, during New York fashion week, with which he travelled us to a magical trip to the streets of the late 60s in Paris. According to what he said, he had in mind a corporate women, the teddy girls and the stylish glamazons. Body concious clothes with leather and furry elements on his garments. Black and white colour mixed with earthy colors. Moreover, quite interesting was the make up, emphasizing to the eyes with black-grey-ish eye shadow on the top eyelid and a red shade on the lower eyelid.

On February 12th one of the biggest names in fashion industry, Victoria Beckham, presented her Fall/Winter 2013/2014 collection. Mood: sophisticated, with several menswear elements. Black is the main colour combined with white and shades of red. What makes this collection quite interesting are the big woollen hats and the complexity of the jumpers and skirts, that give the illusion that they are separated when they are not. Beckham said “The idea is that you don’t have to think about it. It looks like two pieces – jumpers and skirts – but it’s just one piece and you can just zip yourself up and off you go”.
