It may be a Sportswear Label but Adidas has never stopped to thrill us…

2013 is a mighty fine year for Adidas, full of great collaborations. First of all, there is the brand new Stella McCartney Spring/Summer Tennis Barricade Collection. A blend of adidas high-end technologies and McCartney’s exquisite and standout aesthetic consists a range designed for the Australian Open that will be worn by tennis players Caroline Wozniacki, Andrea Petkovic and Laura Robson. Bright colours along with the advanced technology, ClimateLITE in specially placed zones for maximum ventilation on court, are the highlights of every single outfit.
SEcondly, there is the Raf Simon partnership. It wasn’t until his show during the Menswear Fashion Week in Paris, when we first saw this so-called, talk-of-the-town. A limited-edition range of men’s sneakers. A line that embodies five styles in three colorways (all sneakers are in black), with curves and lines, though there is also a touch of multicolored silicone bubbles in green, blue, rose or burgundy red. Stylish yet comfortable. The sneakers are scheduled to be launched into the market in July.
For the grand finale, there is the Jeremy Scott fabulous Spring-Summer 2013 line. A pop-influenced line of exquisite sneakers and clothes with an exotic touch. This surreal version of “adidas Original” consists of jovial patterns, totems and colors colors colors! Influenced by the dreamy flying beasts of Scottish highlands and Mother Nature, a hip unisex line full of passion, joy and oddity. Even the JS Wings are altered -the Hermes wings are less curvy, a bit more geometric, queer eagles and creatures had taken over the place.
