Chloé and Colette, the diptych of a fashionable day walking down the street of Saint-Honoré!
Text: Christina Zikou
For today’s promenade, I feel like exploring the rue Saint-Honoré, one of the most alluring fashion aisles at the heart of Paris, where some of the most prestigious fashion brands get together. Maison Chloé, the well-known French House with the cool attitude, has just entered the Saint-Honoré zone with the opening of its flagship boutique wrapped into a light-filled space and designed with poetry and luxury by Clare Waight Keller, creative director of the House and architect Joseph Dirand.
One can wander around freely, enjoying an ambiance of natural hospitality and personal shopper-like approach. Note that the spring collection is already available at the boutique and since I sense that you are going to fall in love with these dreamy items, let’s see what Chloé’s creative director has to share about the making of the 2013 pieces.
I can’t leave this fashion hub without visiting the French capital’s most famous concept store, Colette -the meeting point of exclusive culture and fashion selections, which has become a veritable stylish empire. Carrying a long and immense list of labels, Colette regularly collaborates with new designers and gives birth to limited special editions. A temple for all avowed design junkies, fashion lovers and beauty hunters, in short. You can shop while listening to music, enjoying an exhibition or pleasuring your palette at the Water-Bar downstairs and who knows, you may bump into Kate Moss…Worth the stroll, right?
To get you into the mood, enjoy some of Colette’s creative windows featuring humor, imagination and style! See you soon for our next stroll!
