Ladies and gents, this week’s profile in style comes straight from the streets of Paris, where Caroline de Maigret, model slash music producer slash Chanel muse slash mother, was scouted and began her modeling career. She was instantly involved into creative collaborations with photographers like Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh and Terry Richardson and then hit the catwalks, walking, among others, for Chanel, Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs.

After having accepted Chanel’s invitation to return to the catwalk for the pre-fall 2012 show, the 37 year old charming Caroline with the unique bangs, made a “fashion come back”, appearing in Italian Vogue, Vogue Us, Vogue Uk, i-D, V Magazine, View, as well as in numerous advertising campaigns.

Her style is mostly clean, simple, and boyish. “If I could trade closets with someone else, I’d chose my man’s”. How would she describe her style in five words? “I say androgynous, my man says rock’n’roll, my agent says Parisian chic, my mother says effortless, and my son says cool”. Her favorite designers are Karl Lagerfeld and Anthony Vaccarello. Her beloved fashion items? That would have to be jackets and high-waist pants… but I think she is also stunning when wearing dresses and high heels, don’t you?
