Ben Affleck has prepared a we project, based on a true story that has been a well-hidden secret for the past 33 years. It is the dramatization of the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation, to extract six fugitive American diplomats out of revolutionary Iran. The six employees manage to escape from their embassy in Tehran and the CIA Agent Tony Mendez will invent an ingenious plan in order to help them return home.

The Young Architects Biennale is about to meet its end on Sunday, January 13th. In order to celebrate the exhibition and to honor one of the most celebrated architects of all times, the Benaki Museum is planning a film showing off the documentary on the life of Oscar Niemeyer. He is the one who paved the way for the evolution of Modern Brazilian Architecture and this movie is a poetic narration of his life and work. The great architect, passed away on December 5th, ten days before his 105th birthday and the rest of the world has to remember him.

After the first and very successful mix of food and music, the Athens Concert Hall – Megaron, plans to repeat a similar event dedicated to good music and food. The Musical Gastronomy season is a series of three concerts at which leading Greek chefs will produce original menus inspired by the evening’s music. This Wednesday, January 16th, the music of George Philipp Telemann will provide the inspiration for delicious gastronomic creations by Giannis Baxevanis. The Camerata, will perform music from the collection “Tafelmusik”.
