It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life, it’s a New Year…

and we’re feeling good.

Listen to this while reading this week’s agenda. Think about the year that is about to end, both good things and bad things, ups and downs. Make plans, dream big and most of all, feel good.

So what are we doing this week?

Ang Lee, had to face one of the biggest challenges in his career while making this aesthetically perfect movie that most of the Hollywood directors called “impossible to shoot”. He has always been very attentive to detail and he proves it in this epic, high-tech adventure. In this story, based on the bestselling book by Yann Martel, a young man who survives a disaster at sea, is hurtled into a journey of discovery. There he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor, a mighty Bengal tiger. An incredible movie that you shouldn’t miss!

“la musique a moi”

The Michael Cacoyannis foundation presents an anniversary musical-theatrical event, to celebrate the 150 years since the birth of the legendary French impressionist composer who is responsible for changing the whole course of the western music. Debussy is probably the first modern composer and in the search for what he called: “la musique a moi”, he refused a secure position in the musical life of Paris remaining true to his art. “It would be good to see music…”, he used to say characteristically.

At the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on December 28th and 29th

The first Candy Pop-Up store of Athens, opens its doors on December 29th and 30th at Cantina Social in Psyrri. Two days completely dedicated to fashion. Clothing, accessories, vintage objects, art, food, sweets, drinks and great live music are all going to be there in a very festive mood. Starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, pop-up and travel back in time.

“Splendid” is considered to be the most perfectly executed and impressive performance that the National Chinese acrobatic troupe has ever presented. An unforgettable and magical show will be presented this week at the Badminton Theater for the Greek audience. The most inconceivable stunts that will take your breath away are going to be there, aren’t you?
