Death Cab for Cutie

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is the title of the cover that the band made for Christmas, a classic song by Phil Spector, which has been performed by REM, Michael Buble and Joey Ramone, too. And, in case you love Death Cab for Cutie a little bit more, you can order their limited edition vinyl here.

Dog is Dead

The indie band covers The Waitresses’ holiday song Christmas Wrapping and delivers a totally different performance of what you expect from a Christmas tune. Close to the original version, always according to the group’s style and their jazz hints.

Best Coast x Wavves

Sleigh bells and retro melody characterize Got something for you, the holiday tune of the two Californian surf rock bands. NME warns you to “beware this yuletide love-in.”

Los Campesinos!

The band, which has been influenced by Joy Division and The Smiths, created a delightful song titled Kindle a Flame in Her Heart for Christmas. Certainly, a tune worth-listening to.

The Killers

Boots was the band’s Christmas song of 2010 and the profits were again donated to the Product Red campaign. As frontman Brandon Flowers has stated “Our Christmas single with (RED) is one of our traditions as a band. […] this cause is too important”.

We wish Merry Christmas to everyone, always accompanied with great music!
