The French House opens its very first pop-up luxe writing store in Paris

Louis Vuitton never ceases to surprise us. This December, the famous French trunk company invites us to enter its ‘Writing Room’ and discover a collection of exclusive writing accessories inspired by literary greats and the Maison’s heritage of trunk closures. The art of handwriting is to be re-vitalized under the roofs of the evanescent space at the Place Saint-Germain des Prés, where collector pens and crystal inkwells feature alongside leather pen cases and elegant paper envelopes. Demonstrations by artists, calligraphers, bookbinders and leather workers are to be presented within the 70 square meter pop-up boutique in order to introduce the values of writing and craftsmanship to a curious public.
‘Le cabinet d’Ecriture Louis Vuitton’, 6 Place Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006 Paris, opened on December 13th.
