Profile in Style: Caroline Sieber

Being a fashion icon is something admirable, but being Chanel’s ambassador is something much bigger!

Caroline Sieber is a trendsetter with a high-fashion aesthetic. Her style can be described as modern, iconic, confident, but most of all, ultra-chic. But how did this tasteful brunette with the amazing legs and the witty eyes become a front row attendant in every fashion show?

Caroline is from Austria. After she had graduated from university, she moved to London to work as an accountant. However, her unique sense of style couldn’t stay unnoticed, so she soon started working as a stylist. The huge step of her career was made in 2005, when Anna Wintour spotted her at a wedding. She found Caroline’s style so interesting that she placed her as a judge of the committee of that year’s Costume Institute Gala for the Coco Chanel retrospective. There, Sieber was the only person, after Selma Blair, that Karl Lagerfeld allowed to wear Chanel vintage gowns. Since then, she is one of the ambassadors of the legendary French house.

Caroline Sieber is known to sum up her style as a ‘youthful reinvention’ of her icon Jane Birkin. She also claims that she avoids anything too trendy, polished or too sexy and she usually goes for sleek, monochromatic outfits. When Caroline wears something daring, she keeps jewelry, makeup and hair to the minimum.

She manages to incorporate classic items with more modern and eccentric pieces. She surely loves tweed jackets, leather pants, striking accessories, aggressive heels and transparent pieces!

Besides being featured in magazines as Vogue Paris, Caroline was voted best dressed of the year by Tattler Magazine, she is the stylist of actress Emma Watson and she now acts as the new testimonial for the new Speedy Bandouliere bag of Louis Vuitton.

Let’s be inspired by Caroline’s impeccable style; shall we?
