Kohl’s passion for fashion and travels!

In November 7th Kohl’s kickstarted a series of capsule collections, inspired by international destinations and designed by top notch designers!

First stop? Istanbul with Narciso Rodriguez!

Cuban American fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez is the first to create a capsule collection for Kohl’s department stores. The line, inspired by his latest trip to Istanbul, Turkey, features mixed patterns and a warm bold color palette. Nevertheless, Narciso’s signature style is at play with classic clean lines and an overall minimal yet feminine feel.

After seeing these ladies wearing pieces of the collection way before it hit the stores, fashionistas around the world were patiently waiting to get their hands on them, on November 7th. In order to celebrate the collaboration, Kohl’s held a party where several celebrities and friends of the designer sported outfits from the collection. Julianna Margulies, dressed in a chic black and white dress confesses “I love that he loves women! He cuts dresses to complement a woman’s body. And this dress is just never going out of style!”. Emma Roberts also attended the event wearing a stunning two-tone bodycon dress and Katie Holmes showed up in a classic LBD rushed in the front, all from Rodriguez’s collection for DesigNation.

“The collection has given me the opportunity to deliver beautiful, quality clothing to women at a true value! It is exhilarating to see it all come to life!” admits Rodriguez.

And although it’s been a hard thing to do here is our top 5 of Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation, Kohl’s collection!

His collection features more than 100 pieces varying from $30 to $150 and is available at Kolh’s.com and Kohl’s stores.

P.S: I know you’re dying to know about the next collaboration for DesigNation already and I couldn’t keep such a secret! So next stop is Rio de Janeiro through the eyes of Derek Lam! Coming on April 2013…brace yourselves!
