Hanneli Mustaparta was discovered by Per Heimly at the age of seventeen. However, she was too perfectionist to be just another model. After comprehending she was never going to be a super model –despite her undeniable beauty, Norwegian you see –Hanneli laid in the realm of fashion, yet with a different “perspective” career.
She came face to face with a turning point, accompanied by nonchalance. A relaxing attitude most of us probably would renounce. Between modeling, she was surrendering in styling and taking photographs. Her homonymous blog showed her a two-pathed way; sometimes she was the photographer, whereas next time she was the model, but always a blogger seeking for sartorial adventures.
As she declared in fashion Telegraph she considers herself to be “a photographer slash fashion blogger slash writer and contributor to Vogue.com. Lots of slashes!” And lots of style too: hairpins are like a Hanneli –weird– signature (if you know anyone else wearing hairpins just like that, please let me know), while her style is as minimal as it is needed so that you can’t take your eyes off her.
