Awarded in Cannes Film Festival with the “Un Certain Regard Award”, the new movie of the Mexican director Michel Franco, comes to the greek movie theaters to haunt us. Nelly’s is one of the most celebrated Greek photographers of all time. During the interwar period she shocked the Athenian audience with her modern vision, but her work was defended by some of the most important personalities of her time like Alexey Brodovitch of Harper’s Bazaar. She developed her own personal style and her pictures earned a spot in the Met collections. AD gallery presents Nelly’s work from her  “New York Easter Parade” exhibition along with selected portraits, landscapes and pictures of the Acropolis starting this Sunday, November 18th.

“Shine bright like a diamond”, she sings in her new song and paves the way for her upcoming album “UNAPOLOGETIC” which comes out on November 19th. The music video of “Diamonds” was just released a few days ago and the artistic visual is definitely something to see. A beautiful illustration of the lyrics with high contrast images accompany the song and hopefully the Barbadian singer’s new album will be equally aesthetically-pleasing.
