Delfina Delettrez has an innate passion for fashion. Her mother, Silvia Fendi, is a designer for Fendi while her father, Bernard Delettrez, is a jeweler, so her path couldn’t be other than the obvious choice of mixing design with jewels. Everything began with an internship at Chanel’s Haute Couture style office. Within a short period of time, she presented her first jewelry collection in 2007 in Paris, which basically featured skulls, poisonous insects, frogs and wild animals.
Collection after collection, her style has become more refined. For her new Spring–Summer 2013 collection Delfina decided to play with illusions and create a sharper feeling of surrealism. She achieved that effect with the help of metal as well as pearls and precious stones.
Another bright example in the jewelry industry is Shourouk. Shourouk is a young girl who was born in Paris and trained as a stylist. She has been always expressing herself through her jewels. She made her first steps when she started working in Chloe as a textile designer -Roberto Cavalli and John Galliano were to follow. In her creations, one can spot vintage elements, which are mixed with modern flare. Shourouk launched her first line in 2007 and until now she has never let us down.
For her new collection for 2013 she decided to use precious and semi-precious stones and vibrant colors. Through her creations one can experience a journey in her romantic, feminine and glamorous world.
