You know you love me

Monday night, I set my alarm clock for 4 a.m. . No, I am not a freak. I am just another “Gossip Girl” addicted person.

Since its debut 5 years ago, ‘Gossip Girl’ has been more than a TV  series.  Based on a popular book series, this drama gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City. Scandals, intrigues, drama, forbidden love, sex, surprises. Gossip Girl has it all.  But there is something more than that.  Gossip Girl is a weekly fashion paradise, a style obsession.

Even its haters can admit that. The secret of this huge success is Eric Daman, the series’ stylist, the man behind each and every character. The man who managed to give to each character his own unique style, make them to be one-of-a-kind, make them to be a statement by themselves.

The two leading stars, Blake Lively as Serena Van Der Woodsen and Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf might be both Upper East Siders but their style is by far too different. Serena is always unpredictable, she is preppy with a rock, vintage twist, edgy but also classy. On the other hand, Blair’s style is refined, classic and elegant. From head ( yes! we all loved her gorgeous headbands!) to toe, she is always flawless.

So, Monday night was the premiere of Gossip Girls’ last season. Blake Lively spotted in a Jenny Packham Spring 2012 RTW chiffon lace dress and Leighton Meester in a Dolce & Gabbana red onion print dress and lace hat for the first outfit, and then in a Prada polka dots wrap top and red skirt! Season couldn’t have started more fashionable than this…

As hard as it could be, I chose my 9 very very very best outfits of Blair – and 10 of Serena’s tomorrow.

Enjoy the fashion show
XOXO.
