Observer: Print Illusion

Text: Christianna Belba

It is common sense for prints to be included in SS collections but say hello to this nice surprise for FW2013 as well. Not only designers included prints in their collections but enhanced the trend by presenting total looks. Whether we talk about monochrome, multicolored, bold, or brocade, it’s a print winter for sure. Designers added printed jackets on top of the print patterned pants we’ve spotted in past collections, creating a perfect match! Agree?

Of course print patterns do not appear only on suits but dresses and coats as well, taking in consideration Stella Mc Cartney’s and Rocha’s creations.

In fact Prada, Miu-Miu, Mary Katrantzou, Etro, Derek Lam, Roberto Cavalli, Emporio Armani and my all time favorite Louis Vuitton embraced this trend in the most glorious way, giving a new twist, a new uniform, if you allow me to say for our winter wardrobe. Some will adopt it (yes I intent to) some will not! In which side are you? Until next week, enjoy the pictures, get inspired and step into Fall in a stylish way.
